Nationally and globally the issues relating to immigrants and refugees are in the spotlight. Locally, we have seen an increase in the numbers of individuals and families from outside the U.S. choosing to make their homes in Lexington. The Lexington Forum has assembled a panel who will discuss differences between immigrants and refugees and the difference as it relates to variety of issues including: legal, economic, social and security impacts on our community.
The panelists are:
- Dana Lea, of Kentucky Refugee Ministry
- Rosine Yani, a Congolese refugee who has resettled in Lexington
- Sam Rock, an Immigration Attorney
- Isabel Taylor, of Global Lex and LFUCG
Please join us for another timely discussion.
