As Lexington prepares to revisit its Comprehensive Plan in 2018, the issues surrounding whether or not the Urban Service Boundary should be expanded are currently being discussed throughout our community. In early February there were public input sessions at which citizens were invited to express their views on this subject. To continue this dialogue the Lexington Forum is presenting a diverse group of panelists who will discuss these issues from various points of view. The panelists are:
- Susan Speckert, Executive Director of the Fayette Alliance, a citizens group that is focused on land use.
- William Lear, an attorney with the firm Stoll Keenon Ogden, whose practice incudes representing real estate developers in planning and zoning matters.
- Phil Holoubek, President of LRC, a downtown real estate, property management and real estate brokerage firm.
- Jim Duncan, Director of the Division of Planning at the Lexington Fayette County Urban County Government.
Please join us for what promises to be an informative discussion of this timely topic.
